Quikly Basics

A Quikly activation is a short-term offering to a brand you love. We reward those who act fastest with exclusive deals, great coupons, new products, cash and awesome gift cards. There’s one catch — you have to opt in if you want to participate, and the rewards can be released at any moment! It’s fast, easy and fun but the quantities are limited. The value of each reward typically decreases as more people respond to the live release, which means the quicker you act, the more you score! Many will win but not all. It’s all about responding as fast as you can.

  1. Rewards can be released at any moment, but first you need to opt in ahead of time to gain access to the release.
  2. A single text message or email will announce the release when it goes live — it can happen at any time!
  3. The faster you respond, the better your reward.
  4. Some people will score a reward, some will not. It all depends on how you stack up against your competition.

All activations are indeed free, and the rewards come straight from the brands. There are a few things that make activations so appealing for brands: Quikly helps them build excitement and urgency over a relatively short period of time. Quikly gets the conversation about brands started. And when there’s a conversation between you and your friends, brands really value it. Make sure to check the details of the offering to confirm the rules of that particular release.

Most rewards can be claimed by anyone who is fast enough and has opted in ahead of time. Some brands are looking to reach a specific demographic making some releases exclusive. Either way, you will only be notified about a specific release if you have been asked to be notified.

Yes, all information is safe and secure. We do not share it with any third parties.

Quikly activations are only open to U.S. residents, unless the terms and conditions state otherwise.

Access your profile page by logging back into the Quikly activation and clicking the menu on the upper right to unsubscribe and deactivate your account.

Opting into an Activation

It’s fast and easy. Just click “I Want In” on any Quikly activation. Sign in with either your Facebook account or an email address, provide a mobile phone number and choose how you would like to be notified for the live release (either email or text message). There are no apps to download.

In most Quikly activations, we require the use of a mobile phone number to confirm the fact that each person is only participating one time. We do this as a precaution to level the playing field and make it fair. Your information is safely stored and will never be shared with third parties.

To fight spam and any cheaters!

A mobile phone with text messaging capabilities may be required to participate in some Quikly activations. To fully participate and gain access to the live release phase, you will specify if you'd like to be notified via text or email. If you choose text as your notification method, you must verify a cell phone number by entering a “secret code” that is sent to your mobile device. For the majority of our activations, providing a phone number is optional and if you prefer, you can solely participate via email.

Be sure that you're providing a valid mobile phone number. Note: If you mistype your mobile phone number, the SMS verification code will be sent to the owner of that number and not to your mobile phone.

We can only send a text message to a mobile phone number (no Google voice or VOIP services). Supported carriers include Alltel, Appalachian Wireless, AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Boost Mobile, Cellcom, C-Spire, Cincinnati Bell, GCI, Inland Cellular, IV Cellular, Nex-Tech Wireless, Nextel Communications, Shentel, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, United Wireless, Verizon Wireless, Virgin Mobile, and West Central Wireless. Additional carriers may or may not be supported.

If you have tried resending the message more than once and did not receive it, most often this is due to your mobile carrier not permitting us to send you a text message from our short-code (a special 5-digit number we use to send out SMS messages). Most wireless carriers allow their customers to block text messages from companies like ours, so this may be preventing our messages from getting through. Contact your mobile carrier to see if they are blocking the SMS message.

If you still need help confirming your phone number, feel free to contact us at hello@quikly.com, and we can investigate why you did not receive a confirmation text message.

After entering your cell phone number and clicking “verify,” you will be taken to a page to input the secret code. You’ll enter the secret code that we have texted to you on this page, and then you’ll be given an opportunity to earn a “heads up” notification before the release goes live.

From the login page, enter your email address and then click "Forgot Password." We will send a link to your email that will allow you to set a new password.

Once you are opted-in, you are officially ready to receive notification of an activation’s live release. The rewards can drop at any time and everyone gets notified at once, so get ready if you want to score one of the top spots. All you have to do is click on the link you receive.

Most opt-in periods last 4 to 10 days. Most rewards are claimed in less than 30 minutes.

We give participants the opportunity to earn time towards a “heads up” notification before the Quikly activation goes live. The timing of each release is unknown, but if you complete any of the activities within the activation — like inviting friends over email or Facebook and having them opt in for the activation — you’ll earn time toward a “heads up!” This “heads up” text message indicates around what time the live release will occur. You could earn a “heads up” notification up to 99 minutes before the live release.

It’s important to note that when referring friends into activations, a friend must fully opt in for the activation. Simply sharing or emailing will not earn you any time towards a “heads up.”

Claiming a Reward

Once you have completed the opt-in process, you’re ready to receive a text message or email depending on your notification preferences. As soon as the release goes live, you’ll be notified that the rewards are available for claim. The faster you click on the link that we send, the better the reward you’ll earn. The key is to “act fast!”

No, a smartphone is not mandatory in the majority of the activations administered by Quikly. However, for some activations, the sponsor might decide to require a phone number. You can choose to receive Quikly live release announcements via SMS text message (standard rates apply) OR through email. This option is available on the same screen on which you enter your cell phone number. While a smartphone is beneficial, you may also take the link that is sent through SMS and manually enter it into your computer. But be sure you’re entering it EXACTLY as it appears.

When we send an SMS text message or an email notification that an activation has gone live for claim, it goes through your wireless carrier or email network before it reaches you. Unfortunately we have no control over the speed at which those messages transmit through those networks and also cannot control the reception at your current location.

You can update your notification preferences by logging in and visiting your profile page via the menu icon on the top right.

Most rewards have a strict timeline for usage. View the redemption rules around where and how it can be used in the follow-up email we’ll send you after you’ve claimed a reward.

If you claimed a reward and never received your email, please check your spam folder. If you find an email from Quikly in your spam folder, please mark it as "not spam" to help train your mail program not to mark these emails as spam in the future.

If you find that our emails are consistently being mislabeled as spam, you can prevent this by adding "hello@quikly.com" to your Contacts list. Usually mail providers like Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail will deliver messages from members of your Contacts list to your inbox.
